WHITEFIELD ACADEMY VISITS AMOR Y ESPERANZA

In the mornings, Whitefield students help lead classes for younger students of Amor y Esperanza. Then, they lead vacation Bible school sessions with the older students. And, of course, there’s been plenty of time to explore the beautiful sites and experiences Quito has to offer.

HEAR FROM SOME WHITEFIELD STUDENTS

"The best part of my year is getting to connect with all of the kids and make relationships that I wouldn't have made otherwise." — Annie Mitchell

"It has been so cool to see how the kids I got to know last year have grown, and to be able to come back and to keep growing relationships with them for more than just one year." — Parker Ailstock

"I was expecting to make an impact on the kids, and little did I know it was them making a bigger impact on me. I see Jesus through the relationships I made." — Taylor Jenn

CELEBRATING MOMS

Last month, AyE hosted its annual Mother's Day celebration, where parents came together for encouragement, teaching, and practical guidance on raising their children. The most meaningful part came at the end, when parents received prayer from Pancho and Pitty.

A MOVING MOMENT OF WORSHIP

One of the most special moments from the past month just happened during a community-wide church service with Whitefield. Whitefield and AyE students led worship together, filling the room in both Spanish and English.

Throughout the service, many students, parents, and staff received prayer and encouragement. One mother later shared that she experienced a peace she had never felt before. She left believing God had met her that day and that a new season was beginning for both her and her sons. Praise be to God!
