REACHING FAMILIES WITH THE LOVE OF JESUS

One of the most transformational parts of Amor y Esperanza is how the school impacts parents in the Quito community.

Just last month, AyE hosted a Parent Night where families came together to hear the Gospel and be encouraged. God’s loving presence filled the space, and many parents turned toward the arms of Jesus.

The school also holds a monthly church service for local families. Nearly 150 people joined the most recent one, where Pancho and Pitty shared what it means to move from death to life in Christ.

A DOCTOR HEALED

Janela joined Amor y Esperanza nearly a year ago as the school’s doctor. When she first arrived, she was filled with sadness, saying, “I felt like I was drowning because of bad decisions I took and for letting the wrong people come into my life.”

Though Janela knew about God, she didn’t feel connected to Him. That began to change when she joined AyE.

“I know that God worked in me through Amor y Esperanza. He renewed my heart and gave me peace. I’m so grateful for how Amor y Esperanza taught me to dream big again and to fight for my dreams.”

Now, Janela is stepping into a new season, accepting a position to work in France. We can’t wait to see how God continues to work through her life abroad. Click below to hear her testimony.

LOOKING TO CHRISTMAS

Can you believe Christmas is next month?

Amor y Esperanza is already preparing for the season with Christmas rehearsals. The students have learned three songs so far, one of them being Peace Be Still.

Pancho and Pitty’s daughter, Mavi, shared, “We are not only teaching them the song, but teaching them to declare all of that song over their lives."
