October 2025 Newsletter
September brought the start of another school year at Amor y Esperanza. With 400+ students enrolled, this is the most families AyE has ever served.
More than a school providing quality education for students, AyE is a safe community where kids receive everything they need to grow into their full potential. From healthy meals to a Christ-like faculty and staff, every part of the school plays a part in equipping students for life well beyond graduation.
Thank you for supporting the mission of AyE. We’re excited to see how God uses your generosity to change the lives of more students this school year.
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
Nobody does the first day of school quite like Amor y Esperanza! The Zola family, along with some teachers, visited grades 8th through 12th for a special time of worship and prayer. Thanks be to God, many students placed their faith in Jesus on their first day of school!
“We declare that this is not just a new school year, but also a new season for the life of each student here,” shared Mavi Zola, daughter of Pancho and Pitty.
The high schoolers also spent time with the pre-k through 1st-grade students, welcoming them to the school and introducing them to new friends. What a sweet day it was!
WELCOMING NEW STUDENTS
Amor y Esperanza primarily supports students from lower-income families across Quito, Ecuador. Just recently, AyE received three new students who lacked safe shelter, education, and consistent meals.
Even though the school year had just started and they were at capacity, AyE gladly made space for these three children to join the school on a full scholarship. They’re also receiving a daily lunch and snack service with many of the other students.
Your support emboldens AyE to say “yes” whenever their neighbors have a need.
